Dr. Jonathan Fogle earned his DVM from Ross University in 2000, starting a Rotating Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. In 2005, he completed a Residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine, earning Board certification by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. He completed his PhD in immunology from North Carolina State University in 2009 and is currently an Associate Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He teaches immunology in the veterinary professional and graduate curriculum of this institution. As the head of an active Comparative Immunology Research Laboratory, his research focuses on immune dysfunction in chronic viral disease and cancer. He is the past director of the Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting core facility at North Carolina State University and is currently the faculty advisor for Clinical Immunology and Flow Cytometry.
