Incorporation of Veterinary and Comparative Clinical Immunology Society Inc Inc (VCCIS)
 

Section 1.2 Purposes. VCCIS is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 or the corresponding provision or provisions of any subsequent United States revenue law (the "Code"). Within the scope of the foregoing purposes, and not by way of limitation thereof, VCCIS is organized and operated to function as a scientific and educational professional veterinary immunological association.

Section 1.3 Powers. VCCIS is a nonprofit corporation, and organized to have a perpetual existence, incorporated in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and shall have all of the powers, duties, authorizations and responsibilities to conduct its lawful business; provided, however, VCCIS shall neither have nor exercise any power, nor engage directly or indirectly in any activity - including all prohibited political and legislative activity - that would invalidate its status as a corporation that is exempt from federal income tax as an organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

VCCIS Nondiscrimination Policy

The Officers, Directors, committee members, employees, independent contractors, and persons served by VCCIS shall be selected entirely on a nondiscriminatory basis with respect to age, sex, race, religion, national origin, and sexual orientation. It is the policy of VCCIS not to discriminate on the basis of race, creed, ancestry, marital status, gender, sexual orientation, age, physical disability, veteran’s status, political service or affiliation, color, religion, or national origin.
